INT. MOTEL ROOM - SUNSET
Basic economy room lit by light through crack in curtains above desk. Tom enters from hallway, closes door, puts hat on rack, suitcase on bed, opens curtains to window view to the FEW PEOPLE in the hotel's pool and monsoon clouds obscuring the Sandia Mountains beyond the Albuquerque skyline. He sits in chair, removes boots, unbuttons shirt on his way to bathroom, leaves view when he enters.
SOUND OF BATH STARTED.
